I can think of only one reason why someone would not recommend staying here, and that is if you want to keep this place as a hidden gem for yourself. The guest house has three guest rooms, so you'll always have the personal touch here - and that is exactly what you will get. Sofie, Christophe, Mateo and Timo are welcoming from the first second - you feel like old friends returning for a visit.
The location is perfect, and I imagine that no matter how long you stay, it will always feel too short. It sure was for us.
Kort samengevat: absolute aanrader. Zoek je een verblijf in Sao Vicente, niet verder kijken. Ik zou zelfs durven zeggen: best een omweg waard!

​Een heerlijk verblijf gehad, met ruime slaapkamers, nette schone badkamers en een heerlijk dakterras. Sofie en Christophe zijn zeer behulpzaam en hadden goede tips: voor uit eten, marktjes, zwemmen, wandelen, snorkelen met schildpadden of wat we ook maar wilden weten. Het ontbijt was elke dag een feest met ruime keuze en elke dag ook weer vanalles om te proeven en testen! Erg leuk en lekker! Zelfs bij ons vertrekdag hadden ze voor ons om 5:00 uur al een heerlijk ontbijtje om mee te nemen met verse koffie en waren zowel Sofie en Christophe opgestaan om ons uit te zwaaien. Kortom een verblijf waar we met een goed gevoel op terugkijken!

The hosts, Sofie and Christophe, where extremely frendly, helpful and welcoming, we felt at home from the very first moment.
The house is very close to the center but yet quiet during the night, ideal for staying in Mindelo and the view from the terrace is wonderful. Breakfast was delightful with many specialties from these islands. Don’t miss this accommodation on your next trip to Cabo Verde.

This guesthouse, owned by a Belgian couple, was a great place to stay and work. With a central location in Mindelo it’s only a short walk to the city centre, the beach, the port and some lovely bars and restaurants. The views from their rooftop terras are just great and the rooms quiet and comfortable. Definitely a place to consider for a short or longer stay. Felt at home from the moment I walked in.

Nous sommes un groupe de 6 amis français venus fêter leurs 55 ans au Cap Vert.
Nous ne regrettons pas notre choix. Tout était parfait !
L'ile, la ville de Mindelo, et bien sûr la Casa Bom Dia et sa petite famille !
Très bien placée à 2 pas du centre ville, la maison est spacieuse, agréable, propre et très bien décorée... Sofie et Christophe sont des hôtes très serviables et attentionnés, à l'écoute, et de bons conseils. Les petit-déjeuners Céto en terrasse étaient fantastiques, délicieux et très copieux : intéressante découverte culinaire, avec que des produits locaux !
Merci à Matéo et Timo pour nous avoir permis de découvrir l'art de la Capoeira.
Mieux qu'un hôtel 4****, si nous revenons à un jour à Mindelo, c'est à Casa Bom Dia que nous séjournerons !
